Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for New Projects of JSC NC QazaqGaz Batyrzhan Tergeusizov conducted an on-site inspection of the Kashagan gas processing plant with a capacity of 1 billion m3 per year. The event was attended by GPCI specialized specialists and representatives of contracting organizations. During the meeting, the contractors provided up-to-date information on the progress of construction and installation work and reported on plans to achieve key project milestones by the end of this year. Batyrzhan Yerzhanovich stressed the need to further accelerate the pace of construction and focused on compliance with industrial and fire safety requirements, including night shifts. 

For reference: More than 2,027 specialists are involved at the site, 1,434 of them are direct staff. About 192 employees are employed in night shifts. There are more than 342 units of construction equipment in operation. Special emphasis is placed on ensuring safe working conditions, including at night. 

Progress on construction and installation works (CMP): 

Installation of chimneys is completed

Works on concreting foundations, installation and painting of metal structures and maintenance sites, installation and strapping of technological equipment, as well as the assembly of tanks of types RVS-5000 and spherical tanks with a volume of 600 m3 are carried out.; 

External engineering networks (NVK-2) are under construction. 

Roof installation has been completed in the GPCI shift settlement in the administrative and residential complex (ABC) and in two dormitories with 140 and 132 beds. Internal partitions are being installed and electrical installation works are underway in the buildings of dormitories for 140 and 132 places and ABCs, which are part of the permanent shift camp. Main types of work performed: 

Concrete foundation work: 55,844 m3 completed (73.6% progress) Installation of metal structures: 5,406 tons (26.7%) 

Installation of mechanical equipment: 4,415 tons (45.3%) 

Installation of tanks: 1,682 tons (62.2%) 

Laying of underground pipelines: 21,506 m (48.8%)
