At the head office of JSC “NC QazaqGaz”, a meeting was held to explain the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event took place in a hybrid format, with around 5,000 employees of the national company joining the online broadcast.
The discussion included the chairman of the capital branch of the coalition “For a People’s Constitution of a Fair and Progressive Kazakhstan”, as well as members of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The speakers went through the key provisions of the draft in detail and answered questions from the audience.
In addition, Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC QazaqGaz”, gave a welcoming speech. He emphasised that the active civic engagement of employees and the wider public is an important element in building a fair and progressive Kazakhstan.
The meeting placed particular focus on the role of Kazakhstani citizens in the public discussion process. Participants highlighted that the draft Constitution addresses fundamental issues such as the country’s development, the strengthening of statehood, and the improvement of the legal system.
Attendees were briefed on the practical implications of the proposed changes, the guarantees of rights and freedoms, and the impact of the reforms on everyday life. The dialogue took place in an open and constructive atmosphere.
