As part of the visit to Ashgabat, meetings were held between the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz Sanzhar Zharkeshov and, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov and the Chairman of the State Concern Türkmengaz Maksat Babayev.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed plans to strengthen fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the gas industry.
In particular, the parties noted their mutual interest in the joint development of production assets, the implementation of gas pipeline projects in the two countries' territory, and mutually beneficial gas supplies.
Following the meetings, the parties expressed their readiness to cooperate to expand strategic cooperation in the gas industry.
