On October 17 of this year, a solemn gas launch took place in the Saryarka district of Astana as part of the project "Gasification of facilities in the Saryarka district" (new sections, 2nd stage). The project was implemented by a subsidiary of the national company "QazaqGaz" – JSC "QazaqGaz Aimaq" as part of the investment program for 2024-2028. As part of this project, 84 residential buildings that had not previously been covered by gasification received access to natural gas. 3.13 km of gas networks were built, 2 SRPs were installed, and the total investment amounted to 95 million tenge. The implementation of the project will create more comfortable conditions for the population, promote employment growth, develop infrastructure and create new production facilities based on natural gas. Gasification gives a significant impetus to the development of the capital, making the city more attractive for doing business and living.
Duysenbek Azanuly was one of the first to connect to natural gas, and he is grateful to the gas companies. – Everything is working perfectly, without interruptions, the house is warm! – says D. Azanuly – We are very pleased with the results of the work of our gas workers. It is convenient, you no longer need to carry coal and firewood. Just press the button, set the temperature, and that's it, the house is warm and comfortable. Taking this opportunity, the specialists of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC urged residents to strictly observe the rules of safe use of gas in their homes. The key to safety is timely periodic inspection and cleaning of chimneys and ventilation ducts in the house, installation of alarms that respond to leaks of natural and carbon monoxide gases with automatic disconnection from gas. – Natural gas has much greater advantages over other fuels, and its presence in our daily lives makes it much easier. Blue fuel does bring many benefits, but it must be remembered that safety when handling gas must come first," said Yerzhan Balabekov, Chief Engineer of the Astana Production Branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC.
