Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, reviewed the operations of the Astana Production Branch of JSC QazaqGaz Aimaq. During the inspection, the head of the national company was briefed on the work of the emergency dispatch service and the call centre, as well as on the development of an automated monitoring system for gas distribution networks.

“Our priority is the reliable and uninterrupted supply of gas to consumers, first and foremost to households. In this regard, we are fully meeting all our obligations. At the same time, we continue to advance the digitalisation of our services. Significant work in this area is being carried out by our subsidiary, QazaqGaz Aimaq,” Alibek Zhamauov emphasised.

As a result of joint efforts over the past year by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the akimats of Akmola Region and the city of Astana, as well as the national company QazaqGaz and its subsidiary JSC QazaqGaz Aimaq, a total of 22,535 households gained access to natural gas. In Akmola Region, the settlements of Nurly, Shubar, Akkaiyn, Talapker, Ybyrai Altynsarin, Koyandy, Karaotkel and the city of Kosshy were gasified. In Astana, natural gas was supplied to the residential areas of Kirpichny, Family Village and Telman. These measures contribute to improving the quality of life in the region and creating favourable conditions for entrepreneurship, while also having a positive impact on the environmental situation.

In parallel, active work continues on the digitalisation of customer services. To date, the QazaqGaz Aimaq mobile application has 630,000 registered users. Through the app, 242,000 gas meter readings have already been submitted. Consumers simply need to take a photo of their gas meter once a month and upload it via the application — artificial intelligence automatically recognises the readings and verifies their accuracy.

Following the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz instructed that the heating season be completed in a stable and safe manner. He also reiterated the importance of complying with household gas safety rules in order to prevent accidents.
