On the sidelines of the ADIPEC international exhibition, Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz, met with Richard Howe, Executive Vice President for Exploration and Production at Shell, and Suzanne Kuegian, Senior Vice President and Chair of Shell Kazakhstan. The meeting focused on the current status and future prospects of cooperation in the gas industry, including exploration, production, and processing.
“We are ready to explore a broad range of joint initiatives — from geological exploration to field development and commercial production, including processing and marketing of gas products. The potential for collaboration between QazaqGaz and Shell is significant, and we look forward to building a long-term strategic partnership,” emphasized Mr. Zhamauov.
The meeting at ADIPEC marked another step toward strengthening the partnership between QazaqGaz and Shell, aimed at advancing Kazakhstan’s gas sector, enhancing its technological capabilities, and contributing to the country’s energy security and environmental sustainability goals.
