From April 8 to 10, 2025, the 8th China International Pipeline Conference and Exhibition on Technological Equipment and Achievements (CIPC-2025) took place in Beijing. Organized by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and the Oil & Gas Storage and Transportation Committee of China, the event brought together over 500 companies and delegations from more than 30 countries, serving as a major platform for sharing expertise in pipeline infrastructure development.

As part of the conference, QazaqGaz First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Meirbek Ikhsanov, met with Zhang Peng, Deputy General Manager of TAPLine. The two sides discussed prospects for scientific and technical cooperation, improving operational efficiency, and advancing transnational infrastructure projects.

Talgat Yesendiyarov, Deputy General Director of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, presented the company’s approach to modernizing trunk gas pipeline infrastructure. His presentation highlighted the implementation of real-time monitoring systems, energy-saving initiatives, and strategies to enhance reliability in challenging sections of the pipeline route.

Company representatives also held a series of working meetings with Chinese partners, exploring opportunities to expand collaboration in technical standardization and localized solutions.

Gaziz Issayev, Director of the Department for Technical Policy Development and Standardization at QazaqGaz’s Scientific and Technical Center, delivered a dedicated presentation titled “Kazakhstan’s Experience in Technical Regulation, Safety, and Maintenance”, which sparked significant interest among participants.

In addition, Batyrkhan Kaulbayev, Senior Manager of QazaqGaz’s Production and Technical Department, provided an overview of the development of Kazakhstan’s gas transportation system.

One of the highlights came from Yan Jinwei, speaking on behalf of Asian Gas Pipeline LLP, who delivered a talk on digital transformation. He emphasized key areas such as process optimization, IT center development, and accelerating digitalization in line with QazaqGaz’s strategic vision.

The international exhibition held alongside the conference featured cutting-edge solutions from leading global manufacturers, with a strong focus on automation, digital monitoring, energy efficiency, and pipeline system safety.

The participation of QazaqGaz, Asian Gas Pipeline LLP, and Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP at CIPC-2025 underlines Kazakhstan’s technological capabilities, its growing role in the global energy landscape, and its commitment to adopting best international practices in the pipeline sector.
