Dear colleagues,
Preserving the life and health of our employees is the highest priority in our operations and a fundamental moral principle of JSC «NC «QazaqGaz». This is the principle that guides our daily work and underpins all of the company's management decisions.
For us, occupational safety is not a formality or a set of procedures. It is a fundamental element of sustainable management. We consistently advance our occupational health and industrial safety system by creating safe workplaces, maintaining equipment in proper working condition, conducting timely risk assessments, training personnel, and providing employees with personal protective equipment.
We place particular emphasis on building a strong and sustainable safety culture. This is not about paperwork or formal reporting. It is about personal accountability, open dialogue, and genuine leadership demonstrated by managers at every operational site.
Regardless of their position, every employee is required to:
strictly comply with occupational health and safety requirements and demonstrate zero tolerance for violations by personal example;
adhere to established safety standards and demand the same level of compliance from colleagues;
do not start the work without assessing the risks and confirming safe conditions;
initiate a work stoppage whenever there is a threat to life and health;
immediately inform their direct supervisor of any hazardous situation that may endanger people or the environment.
I would like to emphasize that managers at all levels are personally responsible for organizing and ensuring safe working conditions at the facilities entrusted to them.
Every employee has the right to initiate a work stoppage in the event of a justified threat to life and health. There will be no penalties or negative consequences for such actions. I personally support actions taken in the interest of safety.
Safety is a matter of personal responsibility for each of us and a key prerequisite for the stable and reliable performance of the entire group of Companies.
