Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC “QazaqGaz,” met with the team at the company’s Research and Development Center (R&D Center) to review progress on several strategic initiatives. During the meeting, the concept for a new office space was unveiled, along with interim results from a number of high-priority projects.
Mr. Zharkeshov toured the newly renovated workspaces, which have been designed with a strong focus on ergonomics. Employees now have access to cutting-edge IT solutions, modern meeting rooms, coffee areas, conference halls, and an eco-friendly printing zone. The renovation reflects QazaqGaz’s commitment to integrating ESG principles into its corporate culture.
According to Mr. Zharkeshov, creating a comfortable, tech-forward, and functional working environment is a key part of the company’s broader transformation strategy, aimed at boosting efficiency and investing in human capital.
The meeting also highlighted the Center’s capabilities in developing geological and hydrodynamic models, supporting exploration activities, and identifying potential sites for underground gas storage (UGS).
Sanzhar Zharkeshov praised the team’s strong technical expertise and noted the Center’s strategic role in securing a reliable resource base to support the company’s long-term growth.
Initiatives presented included the launch of a Situation Center, the expansion of the “Leadership Pool” talent development program, and the implementation of innovative solutions to automate core business processes. The company also outlined its priorities in research and development and emphasized the importance of advancing engineering services as a step toward greater technological self-sufficiency.
