Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz, held a meeting with Maria Claudia Borras, Executive Vice President for Oilfield Services at Baker Hughes. The parties discussed opportunities to expand their partnership within projects aimed at developing Kazakhstan’s gas transportation infrastructure.
The discussion focused on advancing technological cooperation, including the adoption of modern solutions to enhance the energy efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance of the country’s gas transmission network.
“We are implementing a comprehensive program to modernize Kazakhstan’s gas transportation system and look forward to Baker Hughes’ active participation in upcoming projects,” noted Mr. Zhamauov. “The company’s advanced technologies and expertise can play a crucial role in transforming the industry.”
Both sides also expressed readiness to explore long-term partnership initiatives, including equipment servicing, localization of certain processes, and joint projects in the field of digitalization.
