Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz, met with Moutaz Al-Khayyat and Ramez Al-Khayyat, owners of Power International Holding.
The meeting focused on the current status of the second line of the Beineu–Bozoy–Shymkent main gas pipeline, as well as other joint projects between the two companies.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to the timely completion of these projects. The Kazakh side emphasized the importance of accelerating construction and adhering to established schedules, given the strategic significance of these initiatives for Kazakhstan’s gas transportation system.
“We held constructive discussions on key projects and agreed on the next steps to expedite their implementation. I am confident that our continued cooperation will contribute to the further development of the gas sector,” noted Mr. Zhamauov.
The parties also explored additional promising areas for collaboration between QazaqGaz and Power International Holding.
