Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, held a meeting with Zhou Xinhuai, President of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The parties discussed the development of strategic partnership, the implementation of joint projects, the expansion of investment cooperation and new opportunities for the Kazakh gas industry. Alibek Zhamauov noted the importance of long-term cooperation with CNPC, emphasizing the significant potential for further cooperation and QazaqGaz's interest in implementing mutually beneficial initiatives. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the Severny-1 exploration project, as well as the prospects for exploring new sites and launching joint investment initiatives. Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in strengthening long-term partnership and further development of Kazakhstan's gas industry.
