Work is being carried out to study the sedimentary basins of the Republic of Kazakhstan to search for gas-promising areas for geological exploration.
Based on the work's results, promising areas are included in the list of the State Subsoil Fund Management Program (from now on referred to as the SSFMP), which was approved by orders of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The list of SSFMP sites, which are potential areas for geological exploration, is officially published on the websites of both ministries and can be downloaded by any user.
Additionally, the JSC National Geological Service website has an interactive map showing the location of SSFMP sites.
For the SSFMP areas assigned to QazaqGaz, the National Company is open to proposals for the joint implementation of geological exploration projects on 100% carry financing from companies with relevant experience and qualifications and the necessary financial capabilities
