Mr. Alibek Zhamauov began his career in 2005 as a junior advisor at Agip Kazakhstan Caspian Operating.

From 2006 to 2009, he worked as an advisor and supervisor at Agip Kazakhstan Caspian Operating.

Between 2009 and 2015, he served as a manager at Jambyl Petroleum LLP.

From 2015 to 2019, he was Executive Director of Jambyl Petroleum LLP.

From 2019 to 2020, he led the technical team at PSA LLP, and from 2020 to 2023, he was Deputy General Director of the company.

From 2023 to 2025, he served as Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He graduated from the Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas in 1999 with a degree in Machines and Equipment of Oil and Gas Facilities, qualifying as a mechanical engineer.

In 2004, he completed his studies in the institute’s master’s and postgraduate programmes, earning a Master of Engineering and Technology in Technological Machines and Equipment.

In 2022, he obtained a master’s degree from Nazarbayev University under the Executive Master of Business Administration programme.

He began his career as an engineer at Prikaspiyburneft–Kazakhstan LLP.

From 2001 to 2006, he worked at the Atyrau branch of Intergas Central Asia JSC, rising from an entry-level operator to lead engineer.

Between 2006 and 2017, he held several senior roles within the company’s Department for the Operation of Trunk Gas Pipelines, Compressor Stations and Underground Gas Storage Facilities, including Head Manager, Deputy Director and Director.

From 2017 until December 2025, he served as Deputy General Director of Intergas Central Asia JSC.

Since December 2025 — Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz for Production.

Zhanbolat Mirmanov graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research with a degree in Finance, and from the Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas with a qualification in Mining Engineering.

His professional background includes experience with leading international and Kazakhstani companies such as Deloitte, Karazhanbasmunai JSC, and TenizService LLP, as well as senior positions in financial institutions. Prior to joining QazaqGaz, he served as Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance at KMG Karachaganak LLP.

He possesses in-depth expertise in corporate finance, project management, and the strategic development of oil and gas enterprises.

From October 2025 to the present, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Economics and Finance of JSC NC QazaqGaz.

He graduated from the Adilet Higher School of Law (Academy of Jurisprudence) and the Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas.

He began his professional career in 2007 in the justice authorities.

His work experience includes:
2011–2018 – various positions at Zhambyl Petroleum LLP;
2018–2019 – work at Isatai Operating Company LLP;
2020–2022 – Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Atyrau Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation JSC;
2022–2024 – work at PSA LLP, the Competent Authority for major oil and gas projects (PSAs);
2024–2025 – Director of the Oil Development and Production Department at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since October 2025, he has been appointed Chief of Staff at QazaqGaz National Company JSC.
