Activities to prepare for the autumn-winter season at QazaqGaz NC JSC began in March.

“The heating season 2023-2024 passed as usual: no serious accidents or emergencies were recorded at gas infrastructure facilities in Kazakhstan. This year, already in the spring, action plans were developed and approved, and reports on the readiness of facilities are analyzed every week,” shared the head of QazaqGaz.

Sanzhar Zharkeshov personally inspected the preparatory work in the Turkestan region. To date, gas workers, in collaboration with the akimat, have successfully completed the fourth stage of modernization, replacing 2.5 thousand km of gas distribution networks with new ones. Furthermore, we are actively digitalizing the industry, with over 70 thousand electronic meters installed, enhancing convenience for consumers. The work of the Akbulak GIS and the Turkestan CS was also  inspected.

To date, the readiness of the Shymkent and Turkestan production branches of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC for the upcoming season is 33% and 28%, respectively.

Let us remind you that the preparatory work was completed 100% before the autumn-winter period 2023-2024, with the early issuance of certificates of readiness for gas transportation system facilities.

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, our gas workers conduct extensive information campaigns with the population before and during the heating season. We also organize walk-throughs and meetings with residents to ensure they are well informed about the safe use of gas in their everyday lives. This proactive approach is a testament to our dedication to the safety and well-being of our community.
