Ulan Burkitov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC “QazaqGaz” for Exploration and Strategic Projects, conducted an on-site inspection of the Gas Processing Plant under construction at the Kashagan field. Following a walk-through of the facility, a working meeting was held with project contractors.

Contractors presented updates on current progress and shared plans through the end of 2025. Mr. Burkitov noted a significant increase in workforce deployment and emphasized the need to further accelerate the construction pace.

Currently, the site is active with foundation works, installation of steel structures and equipment, assembly of RVS-5000 and RVS-1000 storage tanks, 600 m³ spherical tanks, piping of skid units, and external utility works for the NVK-1 and NVK-2 water and sewer networks. Night shifts have been introduced, and over 1,900 personnel are now engaged on site. Regular safety audits and training sessions are ongoing.

Construction and Installation Progress (CIP):
➡ Concrete works for foundations (UKPG): 47,179 m³ completed — 63.2% progress
➡ Steel structure installation: 3,157 tons — 15.8% progress
➡ Mechanical equipment installation: 3,265 tons — 34.7% progress
➡ Tank installation: 609 tons — 22.5% progress
➡ Underground pipeline installation: 15,787 m — 33.9% progress

Project Outlook:
