Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Zhamauov, QazaqGaz Deputy Chairman for New Projects Batyrzhan Tergessizov, and Ivan Korotkov, Director of Oil and Gas Assets at Samruk-Kazyna, visited the construction site of the new gas processing plant at Kashagan, which will have an annual capacity of 1 billion cubic meters.
Following a site tour, a working meeting was held with the project’s contractors.
Contractors provided updates on the current construction status and shared plans through the end of 2025.
Currently, over 1,900 workers are engaged at the site, including 1,231 direct personnel. Regular safety audits and training sessions are being conducted to ensure workforce safety.
