An extended meeting of JSC NC QazaqGaz was held in Astana, and it was dedicated to the Day of Oil and Gas Workers. The national company's management spoke about the gas industry's development in the context of energy challenges as part of a panel session.
In particular, the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC, QazaqGaz Sanzhar Zharkeshov, spoke about the results of the gas industry transformation and plans for 2025-2029.
"In 2023, QazaqGaz, with the support of the management, the Government, the Ministry of Energy, and the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, reached important agreements on gas transit and export. The development of its own resource base is actively underway. Thus, the issue of gas deficit for the current autumn-winter period has been resolved," said Sanzhar Zharkeshov.
In addition, the company's employees presented corporate projects implemented in QazaqGaz. These include implementing the BaQylau platform, developing a corporate mobile application, creating an interactive digital platform for geological and geophysical data GeoQG, and developing the educational system BilimQG.
Following the event, goals and plans for the upcoming autumn-winter period were outlined, and tasks for organizing an uninterrupted supply of natural gas to Kazakhstan's residents were defined.
