Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, Sanzhar Zharkeshov, delivered a report at the extended board meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In his address, the head of QazaqGaz presented the company’s 2024 results and outlined plans for 2025. He emphasized that QazaqGaz ensures an uninterrupted supply of natural gas to Kazakhstan’s residents while also fulfilling its commitments to international partners.

"With the support of the Government, the Ministry of Energy, and the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, QazaqGaz successfully executed key infrastructure projects in 2024, expanded its resource base, and enhanced the investment appeal of the gas industry. As a result of geological exploration, new gas reserves were discovered in the Maldybai area of the Zhambyl region. We will continue to take concrete steps to unlock Kazakhstan’s gas potential," said Sanzhar Zharkeshov.

Additionally, the construction of a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) transshipment and fractionation plant has begun at the Kashagan field, aiming to reduce the country’s LPG shortage.

Zharkeshov highlighted the significance of these completed projects and strategic initiatives, while also detailing the next steps for the growth of Kazakhstan’s gas sector. QazaqGaz remains committed to expanding its resource base, modernizing gas infrastructure, and attracting investment to ensure a stable domestic gas supply and meet international obligations.
