In Italy (Rome), a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the QazaqGaz Science and Technology Center and Nuovo Pignone, Baker Hughes.
General Director of QazaqGaz STC LLP Meiir Sheraly and President of Nuovo Pignone, Baker Hughes Paolo Noccioni took part in the signing ceremony of the document as part of the official visit of the Head of State to K.Tokayev to Italy.
The Parties intend to consolidate existing cooperation in the field of training of technical specialists of “NC “QazaqGaz” JSC group of companies in the areas of energy and gas transportation, application of Baker Hughes technologies at the Baker Hughes Learning Center in Florence, Italy, including visits to Baker Hughes manufacturing sites.
In addition, the collaboration is planned to develop in the field of localization of training to local technical specialists for gas compressor units and control systems, including data and vibration monitoring systems, based on the training ground "QazaqGaz STC" in the city of Shymkent.
The study of best practices and advanced training can be organized at Baker Hughes University in Florence or at the sites of the group of companies of JSC NC “QazaqGaz” to get acquainted with industrial experience through lectures, seminars, plants’ visit and networking activities.
It was reported that QazaqGaz employees will be trained at Baker Hughes University (Italy) based on the results of an international competitive selection among oil and gas employees. After the selection initiated by QazaqGaz STC, Darkhan Kalmenov, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of “QazaqGaz Exploration and Production LLP”, and Salavat Agishev, Deputy Director of the Production and Technical Department of “Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP”, received a grant for training.
Over the 19 years of its existence, the Baker Hughes University in Florence has trained tens of Kazakhstan specialists in the oil and gas industry. The fundamental goal of this university is to develop leaders in the energy industry, offering them the opportunity to become part of a global multicultural network based on knowledge exchange.
