Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for New Projects of JSC NC QazaqGaz Batyrzhan Tergeusizov and HSE Head of Service Altay Dzhakubaliev conducted an on-site inspection of the Kashagan gas processing plant with a capacity of 1 billion m3 per year.  To date, more than 1,900 people are involved in the construction site, as well as about 360 units of construction equipment. Special attention is paid to ensuring industrial and fire safety, as well as organizing night work about 130 employees are involved in the night shift. 

Progress on construction and installation work

Foundation work, installation of metal structures, technological equipment, maintenance sites, as well as the assembly of tanks of types RVS-5000, RVS-1000 and spherical tanks with a volume of 600 m3 are continuing.  Hydraulic tests of the 8000m3 storage tank have been completed;

 Hydraulic testing of the cooling tower tanks is underway; Work continues on the construction of external engineering networks (NVK-2).  On the territory of the shift camp, work has begun on laying pipelines, as well as installing electrical appliances, sensors and cabinets. In addition, internal partitions are being installed in dormitories with 140 and 132 beds, which are part of the permanent GPCI campus.

Concrete foundation work at the UKPG: 49,321 m3 completed (65.8% progress)

Installation of metal structures: 3,476 tons (17.4%) 

Installation of mechanical equipment: 3,881 tons (40.2%) 

Tank installation: 772 tons (28.5%) 

Laying of underground pipelines: 16,294 m (40.2%) 

The management of JSC NC QazaqGaz will continue to systematically monitor the implementation of the project, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met at all stages of construction.
