Batyrzhan Tergessizov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for New Projects at QazaqGaz JSC, took part in a production meeting with EPC Contract participants for the construction of the Kashagan Gas Processing Plant, with a capacity of 1 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The meeting addressed the acceleration of construction progress and the timely delivery of equipment.

Current Construction Status:
Over 1,700 personnel are currently engaged at the construction site, including:

  • 1,100 direct production workers

  • 120 night shift workers

  • 300 units of equipment are being utilized for construction and installation activities

Health and Safety Measures:

  • Regular safety audits are being conducted

  • Training sessions are organized to improve qualifications and ensure safe working conditions

Key Work Activities:

  • Installation of metal structures

  • Installation of process equipment

  • Assembly of storage tanks:

    • 6 vertical steel tanks (RVS-5000 type)

    • 2 vertical steel tanks (RVS-1000 type)

    • 10 spherical tanks, each with a capacity of 600 m³

  • Piping of technological skids

  • External water supply and sewage system works (NWSS-1 and NWSS-2)

Construction and Installation Progress:

  • Concrete works for foundations at the Gas Processing Unit (GPU): 46,342 m³ completed, 62.1% progress

  • Installation of metal structures: 2,985 tons completed, 14.9% progress

  • Installation of mechanical equipment: 3,142 tons completed, 33.5% progress

  • Tank installation: 544 tons completed, 20.1% progress

  • Underground pipeline installation: 15,787 meters completed, 33.8% progress
