Work on the gas processing plant (GPP) in the Atyrau region is progressing steadily. More than 2,080 specialists are currently engaged on site, including 1,474 core staff. Around 140 employees are involved in night shifts. Over 346 units of construction equipment are in operation. Particular attention is being paid to maintaining safe working conditions, including during night-time activities.

Progress on Construction and Installation Works

  • Foundation works, installation of steel structures, service platforms and process units are ongoing;

  • Firefighting pipeline installation, formwork and reinforcement of foundations are underway, alongside backfilling and excavation for external utilities (NVK-2);

  • Assembly, welding and painting of RVS-5000 tanks continue;

  • Installation and painting of steel structures on racks and pipe bridges are in progress, including service platforms and the administrative block;

  • Cable laying, installation of electrical equipment, trenching, manhole installation and fitting of PE sewer pipes are ongoing at the workers’ camp;

  • Hydrotesting of the tank at Title 20 has been completed.
