The construction of a gas processing plant at Kashagan with a capacity of 1 billion m3 per year is actively underway in Atyrau region.  Ulan Burkitov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "QazaqGaz" for Geological Exploration and promising projects, held a field meeting at the Gas processing plant. During the meeting, the contractors reported on the current status of construction and installation work, as well as presented a timetable for achieving key indicators by the end of 2025. Ulan Burkitov stressed the need to further increase the pace of construction. He instructed to continue work on speeding up the production rhythm, strengthening control over the construction process, and also emphasized the importance of increasing attention to industrial and fire safety issues, including compliance with requirements at night. 

For reference: About 1,900 workers are employed at the construction site. About 140 employees are involved in night shifts. More than 360 units of construction equipment are involved in the work. Special attention is paid to industrial and fire safety issues, as well as ensuring safe working conditions during the night shift. 

Progress in construction and installation work: 

Hydraulic tests of the 8000 m3 storage tank and 2000 m3 cooling tower tanks have been completed

Hydraulic testing of domestic wastewater tanks with a volume of 13,000 m3 has begun.; 

Work is underway on concreting foundations, installing metal structures, installing technological equipment and service sites, as well as assembling steel tanks of the RVS-5000, RVS-1000 types and spherical tanks with a volume of 600 m3.; 

Work continues on the construction of external engineering networks (NVK-2)

In the GPCI shift camp, work has begun on laying pipelines, installing electrical appliances, sensors and cabinets. Internal partitions are being installed in the dormitory buildings for 140 and 132 places.  Execution of the main types of work

Concrete foundation work at the UKPG: 49,997 m3 completed (progress 66.7%) 

Installation of metal structures: 3,603 tons (17.8%) 

Installation of mechanical equipment: 4,001 tons (41.4%) 

Installation of tanks: 782 tons (28.9%) 

Laying of underground pipelines: 16,592 m (40.9%) 

QazaqGaz management will continue to systematically monitor the project implementation, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met at all stages of construction.
