Assylzhan Dauletov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Exploration and Production of QazaqGaz NC JSC, visited the Bozoy Underground Gas Storage (UGS) facility in the Aktobe Region. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the current state of the infrastructure and the operational efficiency of the country’s largest gas storage facility.

The Bozoy UGS, part of the Intergas Central Asia JSC system, is rightfully considered Kazakhstan's strategic "energy safe." As the most powerful of the three storage facilities at the company's disposal, Bozoy plays a key role in ensuring stable gas supplies and enables the system to successfully manage periods of peak demand.

Following the last heating season, the facility demonstrated high reliability: gas withdrawal volume reached 1.9 billion cubic meters, corresponding to 100% of the planned targets. During peak consumption periods, the facility's output reached 800,000 cubic meters per hour, confirming the technical infrastructure's readiness for high-intensity operations.

During his inspection of the production sites and gathering points, Assylzhan Dauletov praised the organization of work processes and the facility's technical equipment.

"The Bozoy UGS remains a vital tool for regulating Kazakhstan’s gas balance. The performance indicators of the Bozoy UGS attest to the professionalism of the team and the high level of infrastructure readiness for the season. Developing such capacities is a priority for QazaqGaz. We will continue to invest in the modernization and expansion of the gas supply system to guarantee the reliability of our country's energy supply," noted Assylzhan Dauletov.
