The Head of State was presented with a report on the company's performance in 2025 and the implementation of key projects in the gas industry.

Alibek Zhamauov said that given the growing gas consumption and the need to expand the volume of gas processing facilities, the main focus was on exploration and capital construction. The expansion of the gas infrastructure, including the gasification of Astana and agglomerations, was also a priority.

The President was informed that last year about 400,000 people had access to natural gas, 112 settlements were connected.

One of the significant events in 2025 was the completion of the Taldykorgan–Usharal gas pipeline ahead of schedule by 1 year and 4 months. Its launch will provide natural fuel to 84 settlements of the Zhetysu region and increase the gasification level of the region to 76%.

They also reported on the progress of major infrastructure projects, including the second line of the Beineu–Bozoi–Shymkent main gas pipeline and the Kashagan gas processing plant with a capacity of 1 billion cubic meters per year.

In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State on the development of the resource base of the gas sector, work is underway at the Maldybai field in the Zhambyl region, and the Barkhannaya field has been commissioned as part of the Amangelda Group.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was told about the implementation of digital solutions. As part of the Aqyl Energy initiative, gas supply accounting and management processes are being digitalized using modern technologies, including elements of artificial intelligence and data analytics.

Following the meeting, the President instructed to take measures to ensure stable gas supply to the population and the economy during the heating period, to step up the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, and to continue work on expanding the resource base of the gas industry.
