QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC has provided natural gas to the Eternal Flame Memorial Complex in the Park named after 28 Panfilov Guardsmen in Almaty. This eternal flame, a symbol of remembrance and respect, was first lit in 1975, marking the opening of the memorial complex.
Until today, the gas supply to the Eternal Flame was provided autonomously using liquefied gas; now, QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC has ensured continuous, constant burning of the flame using natural gas.
Specialists of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC repaired and rebuilt the gas equipment of the memorial complex, installed an 800-meter gas pipeline, and installed a wind-resistant gas burner with ignition equipped with a triple redundancy system, which is not hampered by weather conditions. We also installed a cathodic protection station with grounding conductors and a satellite cable to conduct route search work on the gas pipeline and clean and replace gas devices.
