On 10 April, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, Alibek Zhamauov, reviewed a report on the 2025–2026 autumn–winter period in Aktobe. As part of the visit, he also inspected the AGRS-300 automated gas distribution station operated by Intergas Central Asia JSC.

The station operated under normal conditions, ensuring stable gas supply to consumers during peak demand. Gas consumption during the cold season reached 192,000 cubic metres per hour, representing a utilisation rate of 64%.

During the working trip, Zhamauov also visited the Kazakhstan Oil Equipment Plant, where he ознакомился with the company’s production capacity and ongoing projects. He emphasised the importance of developing local manufacturing for the oil and gas sector as a key factor in enhancing resilience and technological independence.

In addition, the QazaqGaz chief visited one of the 13 gas facilities of QazaqGaz Aimaq in the Aktobe region. Staff presented the level of technical equipment and reported on the progress of the heating season. Particular attention was given to the central warehouse located on site. At present, the Aktobe production branch provides stable gas supply to more than 250,000 customers.

The visit took place as the heating season draws to a close and forms part of broader efforts to further develop gas infrastructure.

As of 2025, more than 900,700 people in Aktobe Region—around 97% of the population—have access to natural gas. Gasification currently covers 205 settlements. By the end of 2026, the coverage rate is expected to reach 97.5%, or approximately 904,500 residents.
