On 5 April, Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC QazaqGaz”, visited the modernised “Nadezhda” dormitory in the settlement of Makat, Atyrau Region.
The dormitory, originally built in 1985, has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment. The project forms part of the “Year of Skilled Workers” and IR screening initiatives aimed at improving employees’ social conditions.
During the renovation, the water supply and sewage systems were fully upgraded, new sanitary fixtures installed, the heating system modernised, interiors refurbished, and electrical systems and lighting installed.
“Nadezhda” dormitory is a key facility housing staff responsible for the operation of the “SAC” and “MSC” main gas pipelines.
Timely modernisation of such facilities is crucial for ensuring the safe operation of the gas transmission network and maintaining proper sanitary and living standards for employees.
