As part of the Year of Working Professions, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC QazaqGaz” Sanzhar Zharkeshov visited the construction site of a modern shift camp for employees of the Zhezkazgan branch of Intergas Central Asia, which operates the Saryarka main gas pipeline and the Zhezkazgan automated gas distribution station.

“This company is built on people. They are our greatest asset,” said Zharkeshov. “I reviewed the working and living conditions of our staff and gave instructions to align them with global standards. Every piece of infrastructure must be developed with the well-being of our gas workers in mind.”

QazaqGaz is currently carrying out similar projects across the country, including building a new camp for employees in Temirtau and renovating a dormitory in Atyrau. In 2025 alone, the company is upgrading 47 facilities—such as showers, gyms, and common areas—with an investment of 2.7 billion tenge.

Alongside infrastructure projects, QazaqGaz is also investing in workforce development. More than 5,500 employees have already completed training and retraining programs, while the annual “Best Specialist” competition rewards top talent with additional pay incentives.

The company is also strengthening ties with universities and colleges. Over 110 students have already completed internships at QazaqGaz facilities, and more than 30 partnership agreements have been signed, creating a strong pipeline of future industry professionals.

In 2025, QazaqGaz will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Ahead of this milestone, more than 2,500 employees and industry veterans will be honored, with regional events held across the country to recognize their contributions.
