The subsidiary of QazaqGaz, JSC "QazaqGaz Aimaq," reported uninterrupted gas supply during the heating season of 2024-2025, despite increased demand. There have been no major technological incidents reported in the company’s gas networks, which span over 72 thousand kilometers. The emergency dispatch service operated around the clock to ensure prompt response.
The demand for natural gas in Kazakhstan has been growing for several years. In 2024, maximum consumption reached 3.4 million cubic meters per hour, exceeding the 2023 level (3.2 million cubic meters). On average, Kazakhstani consumers used 82 million cubic meters of gas per day, which is 5% more than the previous year. Despite the increased load, the company successfully maintained the stability of supplies.
During the heating season, the emergency dispatch service received over 80,000 requests from subscribers. All requests were processed promptly, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply.
Additionally, the company has intensified measures to raise consumer awareness about the safe use of gas. More than 1,300 safety raids have been conducted among subscribers.
In preparation for the heating season, QazaqGaz undertook comprehensive infrastructure preparations for the autumn-winter period, including repairs and maintenance of key facilities. An approved plan for flood prevention measures is also being implemented.
The national company continues to execute its strategy for reliable gas supply, responding to growing demand and enhancing safety measures for consumers.
