Chairman of the Management Board of National Company QazaqGaz JSC, Alibek Zhamauov, held an on-site meeting at the construction site of the gas processing plant at the Kashagan field in the Atyrau region. The meeting was attended by relevant company specialists and representatives of contracting organisations.
During the meeting, contractors provided an update on construction and installation progress, with a view to achieving key project milestones by the end of the current year. The Chairman emphasised the need to further accelerate the pace of construction. He instructed that oversight of construction and installation works be strengthened, continued efforts be made to optimise production processes, and drew particular attention to strict compliance with industrial and fire safety requirements, especially during night-time operations.
Foundation works, installation of steel structures, technological equipment and service platforms are ongoing at the site. At the shift camp area, plastering and finishing works are underway, alongside the fitting-out of accommodation and operational facilities.
During the visit, Alibek Zhamauov also inspected the construction site of the gas condensate LPG extraction, transshipment and fractionation plant operated by Eskene LPG LLP, located in the Atyrau region.
The head of the national company was briefed on construction and installation progress, including foundation works and the installation of key equipment.
QazaqGaz continues to maintain comprehensive oversight of project implementation, ensuring adherence to construction timelines as well as compliance with established quality and safety standards at all stages.
