On 4 September 2026, QazaqGaz held a ceremony in Astana to mark Oil and Gas Workers’ Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Opening the event, QazaqGaz Chairman of the Management Board Alibek Zhamauov congratulated employees and industry veterans on their professional holiday, highlighting their contribution to the establishment, development and reliable operation of the country’s gas industry.
Industry veterans Uzakbai Karabalin and Lyazzat Kiinov, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kaiyrkhan Tutkushbayev, Samruk-Kazyna Managing Director Bakhytzhan Taubayev and QazaqGaz Chairman of the Board of Directors Zhandos Kaiyrgeldi also addressed the audience.
The awards ceremony was a special part of the event. The celebration brought together current employees and industry veterans — those driving the industry forward today and those whose work laid its strong foundations.
