A roundtable discussion on supporting domestic manufacturers was held in Astana, with a focus on increasing the share of Kazakh-made goods in procurement across the QazaqGaz group of companies.

Earlier, the Head of State underscored the need to boost the volume of domestically produced goods in procurement and instructed that the offtake contract system be kept fully operational. The President also set a target to raise the share of offtake contracts with local manufacturers to 10%.

“In line with the President’s instructions, the QazaqGaz group has already signed offtake contracts worth more than KZT 4 billion in 2025. By the end of the year, the company plans to conclude additional agreements with domestic manufacturers totalling a further KZT 1.3 billion,” said Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz National Company JSC.

In addition, QazaqGaz provides support to existing Kazakh manufacturers by granting them priority in tender procedures under the Samruk-Kazyna Fund’s procurement framework. As a result, over the first 11 months of 2025, the volume of procurements involving domestic producers within the Fund exceeded KZT 10.6 billion.

Several offtake contracts were also signed during the event between QazaqGaz subsidiaries and Kazakh companies.
