Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, took part in the 13th annual conference Kazneftegazservice – 2026: Oil and Gas Construction and Engineering. In his opening remarks, he outlined the company’s policy on developing local content and supporting domestic manufacturers.
Speaking at the conference, Zhamauov noted that QazaqGaz provides ongoing, structured support to Kazakhstani enterprises, including consultations on entering into offtake agreements, procurement requirements and technical specifications. These efforts are aimed at expanding the participation of local suppliers in projects across the Samruk-Kazyna Group.
“Between 2022 and 2025, contracts worth over KZT 6 billion were awarded to manufacturers affiliated with the KazService industry association,” the head of the national company said.
These measures are designed to strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity amid growing demand for oil and gas infrastructure and engineering services. He also подчеркнул that the national company continues to prioritise the development of in-country value.
