Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, got acquainted with the preparations for the autumn-winter period in the Akmola region. As part of the preparation, the QazaqGaz group of companies is carrying out a complex of works to ensure reliable and uninterrupted gas supply to the population in 18 settlements.
"Today, the level of readiness for the autumn-winter period in the Akmola region is 67%, in the country – 65%. The events are implemented strictly according to the approved schedule. It is extremely important for us that every subscriber has uninterrupted access to natural gas, especially during the winter months, when the reliability of the gas infrastructure becomes critical," said Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz.
In addition, active preparatory work is underway in Astana and its agglomerations. Among the planned works is the cleaning of moisture (purging) of external gas pipelines in the Family Village residential area, as well as along the streets of Karagaily, Aliya Moldagulova, Aydin, Ornek, Arda, etc. Maintenance of the gas infrastructure is expected in the residential area of Yugo-Vostok, Koktal-1, Internatsionalny and Zheleznodorozhny.
In addition, ongoing and major repairs are carried out, as well as an examination of the technical condition and diagnostics of facilities. The measures are aimed at improving the reliability of gas supply during peak winter loads, reducing accidents and improving consumer safety. The work is carried out in strict compliance with technical standards and deadlines.
QazaqGaz will continue to implement the preparation plan for the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026, with completion scheduled for the end of August 2025.
