Employees of QazaqGaz recently completed specialized training in "Project Management and Risk Assessment in Field Exploration," offered in collaboration with Eni and supported by QazaqGaz Scientific and Technical Center LLP.
Graduates of the program received certificates from Eni Corporate University at a ceremony attended by QazaqGaz Chairman Sanzhar Zharkeshov and Eni Kazakhstan Head Seger Hoijtink.
"Our people are our greatest asset," Zharkeshov said. "By investing in their growth, we improve project efficiency and build a sustainable future for QazaqGaz. In today’s fast-evolving energy market, staying adaptable through training is essential."
The course focused on evaluating exploration potential and economic feasibility, equipping participants with methodologies to better assess new fields and optimize investment decisions. It is part of a broader cooperation agreement signed earlier this year between QazaqGaz and Agip Caspian Sea (an Eni subsidiary), aimed at advancing research and technology development in the gas sector.
QazaqGaz plans to extend its partnership with Eni into 2025, continuing its focus on employee training and professional development.
