Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz, Alibek Zhamauov, held a meeting with Li Shufeng, General Director of CNPC in Kazakhstan. Representatives of Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline Company Limited and PetroChina International Kazakhstan also took part in the meeting.
The parties discussed further strengthening cooperation between the companies, including prospects for collaboration in geological exploration and the development of gas projects across Kazakhstan.
QazaqGaz noted that CNPC has remained a reliable strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the energy sector for many years. The companies have already delivered a number of major infrastructure projects, including the development of the cross-border gas transmission system.
