During the meeting of the Joint Coordination Council between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and PJSC Gazprom, JSC NC QazaqGaz and LLC Gazprom Kyrgyzstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.
The document is aimed at developing cooperation and exchanging practical experience in the areas of transportation, distribution, and accounting of natural gas, as well as in the operation and maintenance of gas infrastructure facilities, the implementation of modern technologies, and improving industrial safety.
Special attention is paid to improving the reliability and safety of gas transportation and gas distribution systems, enhancing technological processes, digitalization, and dispatch management.
“The signing of the Memorandum opens up additional opportunities to strengthen practical cooperation between our companies.” “The exchange of experience and advanced technical solutions will help improve production processes and enhance the reliability and safety of gas infrastructure operation,” said Alibek Zhamauov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC ‘QazaqGaz’.”
As part of the agreements reached, the parties intend to organize mutual visits of specialists to production facilities, conduct technical consultations, joint working meetings and training events, and also exchange experience in the field of preventing and responding to emergency situations.
