On 23 April, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, Alibek Zhamauov, held talks with Wang Haiyan, Vice President of PetroChina International, in Zhuhai, China. The parties reaffirmed the resilience of their cooperation in gas trade and their intention to expand it further.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the current state of cooperation and discussed prospects for its continued development, particularly in the areas of gas exports and the implementation of infrastructure projects.
QazaqGaz noted that during the 2025–2026 winter period, the company took all necessary measures to ensure the stability of gas export supplies, despite a seasonal increase in domestic demand.
The participants also confirmed their commitment to a long-term partnership, which they regard as a key element of regional energy cooperation.
