The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an award ceremony for employees of the QazaqGaz group of companies who took part in flood relief efforts. The following persons were awarded the Certificate of Honor from the Head of State:
Sergey Mikhailovich Lebedev, 4th category fitter for operation and repair of underground gas pipelines of the West Kazakhstan production branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC
Abil Kabdygalievich Tulegenov, master of the Makhambet gas facility of the Atyrau production branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC
Alibek Isatayuly Tapekov, pipeliner of the linear operational service of the Redutsky linear production department of the Atyrau UMG of Intergaz Central Asia JSC
During the unprecedented floods, QazaqGaz employees demonstrated selflessness in performing their official and civic duties. In emergencies, they carried out round-the-clock monitoring in their assigned areas of responsibility and participated in dam construction and strengthening works. Also, thanks to their work, emergency situations related to the use of gas in everyday life were prevented.
In addition, gas workers provided assistance and material support to affected families.
Earlier, JSC NC QazaqGaz sent 2.1 billion tenge to the corporate fund Samruk-Kazyna Trust to assist flood victims. Nine hundred seventeen employees of the group of companies and about 168 units of equipment were involved in emergency rescue and flood control operations in the regions.
