Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, Alibek Zhamauov, held a meeting with Zhapsarbay Sultanbekov, Director of the Seismological Research Centre of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting culminated in the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between QazaqGaz Scientific and Technical Centre LLP, a subsidiary of JSC NC QazaqGaz, and the National Scientific Centre for Seismological Observations and Research LLP.
The agreement is aimed at fostering long-term cooperation through information exchange and joint efforts in the monitoring of natural processes and the prevention of emergency situations.
Ensuring a safe and uninterrupted gas supply to consumers remains a key priority, particularly in light of risks associated with natural and man-made factors, including seismic activity and geodynamic processes.
Under the agreement, the parties will strengthen cooperation in the assessment of seismic risks, enhancement of environmental safety, and exchange of scientific and analytical materials.
