In the Kerbulak District of the Zhetysu Region, natural gas supply has been launched to five settlements: Kaspan, Kaynarly, Saylykol, Koksay and Karymsak. This forms part of a wider regional gasification programme aimed at improving the quality of life in rural communities.
For the first time, around 2,000 residents have gained access to natural gas. More than 600 homes are now eligible for connection. To ensure a reliable supply, 55 kilometres of gas distribution networks have been constructed, along with the installation of process equipment, one modular gas regulation unit and ten cabinet gas regulation units. The project is being implemented as part of the comprehensive gasification of the Kerbulak District, covering a total of 25 settlements.
To date, eight settlements in the district have already been gasified, providing access to natural gas for approximately 24,000 people. Work to connect the remaining villages is ongoing, with a number of facilities currently at the final stages of completion and preparation for commissioning.
The project not only improves household comfort but also reduces the use of solid fuels, contributing positively to the environment and public health in the region.
Particular attention is being paid to raising awareness of the safe use of gas equipment. This is a mandatory requirement to prevent accidents. QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC, a subsidiary of NC QazaqGaz JSC, reminds consumers of the importance of adhering to safety rules when using domestic gas. If you detect a gas smell or any signs of a leak, please immediately contact the emergency dispatch service on 104.
