Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, checked gas supply facilities in Astana in preparation for the autumn-winter heating period.

During a working trip, the head of the national company visited the gas control point at CHPP-2, the construction site of CHPP-3, and the Yugo-Vostok gas thermal power plant. The Chairman was informed about the state of gas supply facilities and the completion of the construction of the supply gas infrastructure at the facilities.

"Today, we got acquainted with the preparations for the heating season at the capital's thermal power plant. I note that from QazaqGaz, the entire gas infrastructure in Astana is ready for the autumn-winter period - residents will be provided with gas. We will also inspect similar facilities in all areas. To date, the readiness of gas facilities for the heating season in the regions is 82%," said the head of QazaqGaz.

In addition, as part of implementing the instruction of the head of state, the gas infrastructure for CHPP-3 was inspected. Currently, the akimat of Astana is carrying out construction and installation work at the facility. It is expected that the commissioning of the facility will take place before the start of the heating season 2023-2024.

In addition, the akimat of Astana is building the Yugo-Vostok GTS. After the construction is completed, the station will provide heat to the promising construction area of the new Mynzhyldyk railway station. It should be noted that the gas infrastructure at the facility was also built ahead of schedule.
