QazaqGaz employees will be trained at Baker Hughes University (Italy) based on the results of an international competitive selection among oil and gas industry employees.
After two stages of the competition, two employees of the group of companies were selected. Darkhan Kalmenov, Deputy Director General for Economics and Finance of QazaqGaz Exploration and Production LLP, will be trained under the Senior Leader program from January 22 to February 1. Salavat Agishev, Deputy Director of the Production and Technical Department of Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, will study the Next Leader Program course from February to May 2024.
"Cooperation in the field of education strengthens our relationship with Baker Hughes. Thanks to this, employees of the QazaqGaz group of companies can study and improve their skills abroad, adopt the best international practices, and implement them in production. In November, applications for the competition were sent by employees of KazTransGaz Aimak JSC, QazaqGaz Exploration and Production LLP, Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, and others," said Didar Sagimbekov, Chief of Staff of QazaqGaz NC JSC.
"QazaqGaz STC initiated an internal selection among a group of companies and compiled a shortlist of 13 candidates with relevant competencies and required work experience. Based on the resumes received and by the requirements of Baker Hughes University for the second stage of the competition held by the University in Florence, a list of 6 candidates was compiled based on personal and professional data," said Meiir Sheraly, CEO of QazaqGaz STC LLP.

The educational institution is based at the Baker Hughes Florence Training Center in Florence (Italy), a venue for congresses and training.
