From October 15 to 17, 2024, the Best Specialist professional skills competition was held at the production facilities of the Taraz branch of Intergas Central Asia JSC (part of QazaqGaz NC JSC). The main objectives of the competition were to exchange experiences, motivate employees to improve their professional level and skills, and increase the prestige of blue-collar jobs, especially in the gas transportation sector.
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, declared 2025 the Year of Blue-Collar Jobs, emphasizing the importance of hard work and professionalism.
This year, the Best Specialist professional skills competition saw significant participation, with over 90 employees from various regional branches demonstrating their high results. The competition, which spanned two days, included assessments of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and the provision of emergency first aid.
The jury, in their assessment, considered the level of theoretical training, quality of assignments at the production site, rational use of time, and compliance with safety regulations. The winners were awarded diplomas and an annual salary supplement for professional excellence. The 'Uzdik Maman' challenge cup, the most prestigious award of the competition, was presented to the winner in the overall team standings.
