Education

He graduated from the Kazakh Humanities and Law University (KazGUU) with a degree in Law, holds a Master's degree in Law from KazGUU, and an LL.M. from the University of Amsterdam. He is also an alumnus of the international Bolashak scholarship programme.
Career

He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the legal sector. Aydyn Mukhametzhanov has worked across the banking, manufacturing, oil and gas, and railway industries, as well as in holding companies, including in senior leadership roles.

Throughout his career, he has provided legal support for major investment projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) involving institutional and international investors, and has represented companies in international matters.

Prior to his current appointment, he worked at JSC Samruk-Kazyna and the Fund's portfolio companies. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund.
