Dear students,

One of the priority directions of JSC NC "QazaqGaz" is participation in the social development of society, particularly in the training of qualified personnel for the gas industry. To support successful 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate students at the K.Tuysybayev Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Business, Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev, and the School of Energy and Oil and Gas Industry at Kazakh-British Technical University, JSC NC "QazaqGaz" is pleased to announce the acceptance of online applications for the named scholarship from JSC NC "QazaqGaz."


Requirements for Applicants:

Key criteria:

  1. Citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  2. Average GPA ≥ 3.0 points.
  3. Motivational video/letter on the topic: "My Choice - JSC NC 'QazaqGaz.'"
  4. Absence of other scholarships awarded by any organization (sometimes by private individuals).


Additional criteria: 

  • Winners of international, national, interregional, regional, district, and city scientific conferences, seminars, olympiads, and symposiums.
  • Winners of sports and creative competitions.
  • Presence of scientific publications.
  • Possession of the "Altyn Belgi" badge, a certificate with honors.
  • Provision of documents confirming the social status of the family (low-income, large families, single-parent families, orphans, disabled individuals).


The deadline for submitting online applications for the scholarship competition is from July 24, 2023, to August 6, 2023.


To apply, you need to:

  1. Fill out the applicant's application for awarding the scholarship according to the attached form.
  2. Provide a scanned copy of your identity document.
  3. Provide a scanned copy of your academic transcript.
  4. Provide scanned copies of documents confirming the applicant's achievements (diplomas, certificates, awards).
  5. Motivational video/letter on the topic: "My Choice - JSC NC 'QazaqGaz.'"
