At the central office of NC QazaqGaz JSC, a meeting of the Extended Meeting on ensuring safe work was held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Chairman of the Board Meirbek Ikhsanov. The event was attended by the heads of the central office and directors of production branches via video conferencing.
Altay Dzhakubaliev, the head of the HSE Service of NC QazaqGaz JSC, presented findings during the Extended Meeting. He shared the work results for the first five months of 2024, highlighting the progress made. He also discussed the results of the near-miss investigation, where he identified shortcomings and proposed corrective measures and recommendations to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
Meirbek Ikhsanov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, delivered a powerful message during the meeting. He underscored the significance of investigating all Near Misses and reiterated that the safety of every employee in the QazaqGaz group of companies is a collective responsibility.
In addition, during the meeting, subsidiaries of Intergas Central Asia JSC, QazaqGaz Onimderi LLP, and subcontractor Kagam LLP presented reports on the following topics:
- Organization and conduct of hot work;
- Preventive measures taken during hot work;
- Precautions during lifting operations.
Altay Dzhakubaliev noted the importance of holding such extended meetings to discuss issues of paramount importance in the field of HSE.
