National company QazaqGaz acted as an industry partner of the international GASTHERM EXPO exhibition, dedicated to advanced technologies and solutions for the gas sector.
On the first day of the business programme, Azamat Davletov, Deputy General Director of Intergas Central Asia JSC, took part in the opening ceremony and spoke about the operation of the gas transmission system amid seasonal variations in demand. He noted that pressure on the system rises considerably during the autumn and winter months, requiring effective gas-flow management, transport-route planning, and a sound balance between supply and consumption.
Particular attention was given to regional gasification and the development of stable domestic demand for natural gas. Bereke Izimbergen, Director of the Pricing Policy and Monitoring Department at NC QazaqGaz JSC, emphasised the importance of integrated infrastructure development, taking into account the expansion of consumer access to gas and changes in regional demand patterns.
Digital transformation was also among the programme’s key themes. Rauan Shotkin, Head of IT at QazaqGaz Scientific and Technical Centre LLP, spoke at the session “Vibe Coding in Corporate and Industrial Environments”, which explored the use of modern development and automation tools.
Another session, “Smart Networks and AI: Managing Gas in Real Time”, focused on the use of artificial intelligence and digital solutions in the management of gas infrastructure. Aidos Aitpembetov, Director of the Department for Science and Innovation Development at QazaqGaz Scientific and Technical Centre LLP, delivered a presentation.
On the second day of the exhibition, discussion centred on the construction and development of gas infrastructure, new projects, and modern solutions to enhance the reliability of gas supplies.
QazaqGaz’s participation in GASTHERM EXPO provided an opportunity to showcase the company’s key development priorities — from the construction and modernisation of gas infrastructure to digitalisation and the adoption of AI — and to discuss the sector’s current challenges with the professional community.
